Cancellation Policy
Blue Sky Rentals' cancellation, no-show, early return, and rental extension policies.
Cancellation
No penaltyCustomers may cancel their reservation without a cancellation penalty. If you have already paid an amount to Blue Sky Rentals for the reservation, the eligible amount will be refunded according to the original payment method and applicable payment processing conditions. Please notify Blue Sky Rentals as early as possible if you no longer require the vehicle.
No-Show
If you do not collect the vehicle at the agreed date and time and do not contact Blue Sky Rentals, the reservation may be classified as a No-Show. Blue Sky Rentals may hold the reservation for up to two hours after the scheduled pick-up time. After this period, if there has been no communication, Blue Sky Rentals may cancel the reservation and release the vehicle. For airport reservations where valid flight information has been provided, known flight delays are taken into consideration.
Early Return
You may return the vehicle earlier than the originally agreed return date. If you inform Blue Sky Rentals at least one day before the requested early return, the unused eligible rental days will be refunded. If you do not provide at least one day of advance notice, Blue Sky Rentals may retain or charge one additional rental day. After that one-day adjustment, any remaining eligible unused rental days may be refunded. Eligible per-day items (daily rental, Premium Full Insurance, child seats, additional driver) are recalculated. One-time fixed fees such as the Outside Zakynthos Permission (€100) are not partially refunded.
Rental Extension
An extension is not automatic. You must contact Blue Sky Rentals before the originally agreed return date and time. All extensions are subject to vehicle availability and become valid only after Blue Sky Rentals approves and updates the rental agreement. The original agreed daily rental price is used for additional approved days. Premium Full Insurance and daily extras continue at their original daily rates. Fixed one-time extras are not charged again.
Unauthorized Extension
Keeping the vehicle beyond the agreed return date or time without approval from Blue Sky Rentals does not constitute an authorized extension. This may result in additional rental charges, may affect insurance or damage-waiver protection after the authorized rental period, and may be treated according to the Late Return provisions of the rental agreement.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is due, Blue Sky Rentals will process the refund using the appropriate available payment method. The time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on the bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
