April and May: spring on the island

July and August are the hottest and busiest months. Temperatures often reach the low 30s °C, the sea is at its warmest, and the resorts, beach bars and nightlife are at their liveliest. This is also when most families travel during the school holidays.
Expect more traffic in Zakynthos Town and Laganas, busier beaches and higher prices.
